Running is tough for me, I don't enjoy it and it's hard on the joints. I far prefer walking.
What about when dining out?sundaymorningstaple wrote: ↑Thu, 27 Jul 2023 6:52 pmYes. The only one I'd ever use (for the family only) is low salt Kikkoman's Soy Sauce. But personally I will not touch Soy at all as it is virtually pure salt in a brown liquid form. About the only thing I used that comes out of a bottle is Tabasco.
I've been on a health kick too, and for the first time in years, I can say that I've truly seen results.sundaymorningstaple wrote: ↑Thu, 27 Jul 2023 7:00 pmYes. I've been back on my diet (very loosely to be honest) but have actually only cut out snacking as due to retirement and 3 years of covid, I'd packed on about 12 kg over where I'm happy. So about 10 weeks ago I bit the bullet and decided to get back down to where I feel best. I was 84.4 kg when I started and this morning I went under 74 to 73.7 kg. My goal is 71~72kg which will put me back into my 32 inch 501's again. My 34s are now loose and baggy/saggy fortunately I still have some 33s to get me through the interim transition. Feeling good (and some of you who where at our last drinking session can attest to my girth before starting on the downward slope). As usual, My HBP is down 20 points and the doc will probably take me off of the pills again as it's been shown time after time that my HBP is a direct result of my weight gain or loss.
It really is so motivating to see results, the key is to push through to that point, and from there, you won't want to stop.sundaymorningstaple wrote: ↑Fri, 28 Jul 2023 12:24 pmSounds like you have gotten it down to where it is 'enjoyable' and effective and something you can live with. Power!
Sorry, I was asking EverettHawthorne. I'm very keen because I like the idea of money back guarantee and I don’t mind paying for catered food. I was so excited that I forgot to quote her and left for a short holiday after that.sundaymorningstaple wrote: ↑Tue, 25 Jul 2023 9:09 pmTo which poster are you directing your question to?Dancerinangie wrote: ↑Tue, 25 Jul 2023 3:09 pmI was searching for weight loss and this thread came up. My friend was touting TA90 to me and i'm seriously considering. Anyone has really effective weight loss solutions to share? pls?
I'm not sure if I can share the company here. Anyway, let me come back to u by this week. These few days are quite hectic for me.Dancerinangie wrote: ↑Sat, 29 Jul 2023 9:20 amSorry, I was asking EverettHawthorne. I share with you my personal experience. I had issues slimming down as well partly due to thyroid issues which the doctor told me I will put on weight easily. I tried all kinds of slimming methods, meal replacements, exercising, intermittent fasting, keto diet, slimming centers, nu skin, and acupuncture. During the initial stage, my weight did go down a bit but it always rebounded higher. From 68kg, I rebounded to 72, and so on until 85 kg. I really really already given up hope.
The more I tried, the heavier I became. Until my friend highly recommended reboott. I didn't want to go at first but due to her insistence and pressure, I gave in. I went for the consultation and they gave me a guarantee. If I do not slim down by 10kg, they will refund whatever I paid. They ran some test to understand my body, took some of my hair for analysis as well.
Long story short, they gave me some supplements and also send me food. I lost about 20kg in 3 months. They gave me real proper food with fruits, no meal replacements, no exercise required. Just eat and sleep which sits very well with me.:p
At first it takes a while to get use to the food as there won't be fries or burgers which is my staple diet but it is still quite tasty, nothing bland or nasty.
I completed 8 months ago and still pretty amazed by the results although rebounded 2-3kg and hovering around 67 to 68kg because I have been traveling around to places like Japan, Europe and eating all the nice food. I'm not perfect but I think this works for me. The good part I do not need medication for my high blood pressure anymore.
An update. I've actually lost 13 kg and for the past two days have weighed in at 71.4 kg. Feeling good and my lower joints are looking up at me and smiling 'thank you'. I think I'm gonna stay in the same mode and then stop at 70 as I know how useless it is to go below that as it's too hard to maintain. 70-72 was always my 'fighting weight' when I was a commercial deep-sea diver until I hit 48. Might try to try harder to stay there cause at 77 most of my get up and go done got up and went! Pretty chuffed how easy it was to drop the 13 kg though.sundaymorningstaple wrote: ↑Thu, 27 Jul 2023 7:00 pm

Good for you! When you no longer need medication, you know you're healthier.EverettHawthorne wrote: ↑Mon, 14 Aug 2023 1:53 pmSorry for the late reply, I know I promise you last week.
