Thank you so much @sundaymorningstaple and @joeyy.
I am gonna throw away 300$ for the known result

). Quite hesitate now lol.
Seem With a Vietnamese, whatever pass won’t help at all.
What is the point to waste 300$ now
Not saying any pass wont help
If you were on
- EP
- Earning higher
- Duration of stay in Singapore was more than 6 years
- In a job/skill that is in demand in Singapore
you still have a chance.
Interesting, why do you think so?
My profile is quite similar with this
I'm Vietnamese, under EP, salary more than 100k, been here fore more than 6 year, working in IT.
I applied 2 months ago with my spouse and kid but I don't think I stand a chance. I was rejected once.
@NP999
I plan to leave the SG as soon as I could find PR else where.
I think it's better to look out for opportunities rather than just wait here.
What do you work as in IT?
Is your wife working ? As what?
When were you last rejected?

I'm working as a software engineer.
My wife is working as an administrative assistant for almost 2 years. She wasn't working when I applied the first time.
I was rejected in Feb 2017.

Sorry to say your chance is going to be less. Reason is there are many many software engineers in Singapore NOW. They are looking for people who have real specializations like AI, Machine learning, etc

Hi Bạn,
Sorry to hear that. Just applied last 3 months and foresee 300$ are gone

). My status is worse than yours lol

. Anyhow, suck it up. You are still young and if you can find an alternative way, don’t wait. For me, I love living here though many difficulties.
All the best!

You will have a rough idea, by reading and looking at the below, and categorizing yourself as "Others".
The government does not disclose its evaluation criteria or decision processes beyond broad generalities, such as long-term citizen population-related goals. One of the government's stated public policy goals is to maintain relative stability in Singapore's racial and ethnic population proportions in order (in the government's view) to promote and maintain racial harmony. Consequently a PR applicant's race influences ICA's decisions.

Add to all that information, you must also consider the fact that Singapore has has a certain distrust of the VN government since the 1960's and probably moreso today considering the entire country is now a communist country, not just the North. They are still not completely comfortable but PR is doable, SGC not so much.
