How do you deal with inconsiderate neighbours?

Post by abbby » Tue, 01 Oct 2019 3:38 pm

I have this neighbour who constantly loves to slam his main door. It's as if he can't hold and shut it slowly. It's been almost a year, and starts as early as 6 am everyday. What will you do if you were me? Tell him and we become unfriendly..? [-o<

Yes much easier to sweeten with kindness. It sounds like he needs a door closer (I have one and it really helps stop the door slamming when I leave).
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

Right & Wrong...

No one is ever wrong including myself…when you tell someone that…he or she is wrong…even if that person have done a murder…it means you are saying that he or she don’t exist…

Superficially we will say sorry and apologize…but deep down…we know we are right…

or to rephrase it…we know we exist….

wrong means dead… I don’t exist…

Right and Wrong = not concrete

Rightly wrong….Wrongly right is better…

Don’t try to swing, both extremes are dangerous, you can’t be in the center…unless you are an enlightened being, but there is a buffering area around the center…

Pick Your Battles, and Do so Wisely.
Don't Write Your Neighbors a Letter or Report Them to Others.
Do Meet Them in Person.
Don't Get Defensive.
Do Take a Deep Breath.
Do Ask Yourself If You're a Good Neighbor.
