I live in Bukit Timah right next to a huge forested area. I had to resort to closing my windows full-time because nothing else seemed to work. On the other hand, my colleague had an injured baby fly into her home. It didn’t seem to have a mother because no other birds came to claim him. After nursing him back to life, I guess the bird imprinted on her and refused to leave. He’s actually quite sweet and smart, can do quite a few tricks as well. Obviously the same cannot be said about the wild mynah population.

Another good option is to get the mesh net from Daiso and cable tie them up where the windows are. Unsightly but solves the bird issues.
