New Business Ideas - pls comment!

Post by linch » Fri, 11 Mar 2005 10:24 am

Hi all, I am here to entails out any business ideas that came out of my mind now and then. Some may say why I do this and that my ideas could be stolen. The fact is I don't mind. Although if you wish me to be part of it if you intend to carry those ideas out, I am more than happy for it.

Ok, here it goes. I believe that the government of Singapore had certain catchment areas and reserviors that can used for watersport activites. I am not sure whether there is any commercial water based activities there but if not, there seems to be a need for it. Boating and kayaking activities could be provided. The idea is similar to those found in lakes at european countries. Couples and families can boat around the catchment areas. I can say, canoeing and baoting around places such as the Macritchie reservior and Pierce reservior feels great to me. Here is a example of what I am actually sayiing.

Other than, there are also other opportunities in these areas. A spa retreat, a cafe or dinning places can be situated at these areas. However, nonetheless, there is a issue of the enviromental and sanitation issue that has to be address - the reservoirs supplies clean drinking water to the whole of Singapore. These could be overcome I presume. Then the problem on the red tape issue. If the Singapore government can go ahead with the casino idea, I see no reason not for this to get approval from the authorities.

Thats all I have for now. I will add more ideas to this thread or another new thread as time comes along. You are free to add you ideas too. Another reason for giving ideas is that I also wish to enjoy the stuff I mentioned and that they bear fruit.

Please feel free to rebutt and discuss more also. If contacting me, email me at [email protected]

Best Regards
Patrick
