Finding a mentor.

Post by chankoho » Fri, 13 Sep 2019 12:34 am

Hi, I am not sure where to post this, but it's worth a try.

I have attended some workshops on how to starting a business/entrepreneur etc. which cost me a few thousand dollars, but all I have gotten was being treated like another customer. Don't get me wrong I did get useful information from the workshop. I just felt that I am just an addition to their testimonial stories and I feel that I'm not making my monies worth. Messaging them can be frustrating; most of the time, I would need to wait about two days for them to reply to my questions. They have an appointment meeting system where the average waiting time is nearly a week, so I'm kinda stuck during the wait.

I am writing here in hopes of finding a mentor that would guide me. I'm still a student, and I do not have thousands of dollars to spend on another workshop. But I'm not asking it for free, but maybe I can pay you a certain percentage of profits till it is paid fully.

I am open to any suggestions and advice from the experts here. Are my thoughts ignorant and arrogant? I'm open to criticism as well.

Thank you for reading my post, and I apologize if this is not the correct thread to post this.

What kind of business you are interested to start up?

There aren't any guarantee for successful entrepreneurship no matter how many workshops you attend.
