CONVERT FROM SPASS TO LTVP

Hi everybody,

I'm currently a S pass holder and working in SG. My company applied for my S pass renewal, however it was rejected after 7 days due to my company's outstanding payment for Levy's Penalty. After clear the penalty, my com applied for an appeal but it's still pending till now.(Appeal applied on 26/8/19).

Me and my Bf (SC) also plaining to ROM and apply for LTVP with in this year or next year. So my question is can S pass holder apply for LTVP? Will the S pass will be automatically cancel after LTVP issue?

Incase my Appeal status is still pending up to now (heard some cases are up to 3 months, and my current pass will expire on Dec ), should we wait for the appeal outcome first or can we able to ROM and apply for LTVP while the appeal is pending?

1.Wait for the S Pass Appeal outcome.
2. Apply and check for Pre Marriage LTVP to check your eligibility of LTVP after marriage
3. IF you have a S Pass and apply for a LTVP, ICA will know that you have a S Pass and will advise you on how to cancel etc. But later after getting LTVP+, you still need a LOC to start working in SG.

If OP get LTVP+, can also get outright S or E pass as well if not PR. Best way, else employer will probably underpay.

Thanks for all replies. My appeal is still pending after 3 weeks and MOM sent message to my company that MOM needs more time to review this appeal. Any Ideals why this took longer time to appeal since my company already clear all the payment and penalty of late Levy?
