Can I still apply for job if I didn't return my work permit

I believe you are supposed to mail MOM back the Work Permit.

Did you do a runner with you former employer? If so, you may have a problem. You buys your ticket and takes your chances.

Re: Can I still apply for job if I didn't return my work permit
The information you are providing is hardly relevant but a red flag.
When finishing up with a job there are many things that need to be done, and returning the pass is normally the companies job to collect and send back. This is why SMS asked you the question above.
If you followed the process you will have cleared tax and any other admin issues (including returning the card)
If you didnt return the card - how many other things did you miss.
If you just left without following the process you probably have 0 chance.
If you left properly and just forgot the card then it *probably* doesnt matter
