Distributor/Export Questions

Post by francomade » Sun, 01 Sep 2019 6:52 pm

Greetings. I am new here and wish to ask a few questions.

I am a local Singaporean and my wife is a Permanent Resident here. I intend to bring goods eg. dried food products from Thailand in bulk to Singapore and intend to sell them here. My aim is to distribute to major local supermarkets etc.

May I know is there any source/site/person that I can look into or contact to get more information? I do not have any registered company here however I do have the capital and really wish to distribute products here in Singapore. What are the steps required to do the above?

Thank you!

At a very minimum, you'll need

a) a registered company, probably a pte ltd

b) permits to import foodstuffs from abroad -

c) local licenses to sell foodstuffs in Singapore
