Impact of moving to new employer in a pending PR application

Post by yeqimin » Tue, 20 Aug 2019 5:59 pm

Hello all,

Just wondering if there would be a big impact to my 8 month pending PR application given that I am moving to a new employer next month?

Thanks!

Very likely, yes it will affect

Sometimes it might be an advantage, if (note ONLY SOMETIMES)

1. The company is really stable, etc
2. Your salary rise is very significant.

Else, it will affect your application negatively, reason being they would be evaluating you on the current employment, employer, etc

Hopefully it will be.

I have an upgrade from SP to EP, salary rise is quite ok.

Thanks for your response.

Salary rise of what is OK to us, may or may not be OK in ICA's view.

Based on what you have mentioned in some of your initial posts in other threads, sorry to say that your chance is going to be very low.

So, pls dont have very high hopes
