Immigration officer tells 14 days but stamped for 30 in passport and embarkation
Hi, how about my case, I was put on hold in the immigration office and was just told and given 14 days to stay. But she stamped my embarkation form and passport to be able to stay for 30 days. Could I stay for 30 days without having problems?

Yes, just follow the stamp, a black and white approval for 30 days.PaoloVincentJulian wrote: ↑Mon, 19 Aug 2019 12:09 amHi, how about my case, I was put on hold in the immigration office and was just told and given 14 days to stay. See other threads. Better to leave in 14 days if that was what was told. Dont try to play around with immigration matters. They would have surely made a note down in their system that they asked you to leave in 14 days.

If you have been verbally instructed to not stay beyond 14 days but your passport is stamped with a 30 day pass, then you must follow the verbal instruction. If you stayed beyond the 14 days instructed by the officer, you may be prohibited to enter on your next visit.
