Hi. I have some queries to ask the experienced peeps here. I am female SC and applied LTVP on 15 Apr 2019 for my spouse on ROM day. We didnt manage to do PMLA (unintentionally) as my prev PMLA done for ex fiance must wait till expire on 31 May 2019. I know without Pmla it takes up to 6mths. Now coming 4mths.
I wrote to ICa 17 July 2019 for them to assist to expedite as we were caught up in situation where we cannot do Pmla not that we dont want to do it. They replied next day that they will look into it and assist where possible. So every week I emailes to ask update and was told that they are "looking into it". Today ICa replied that they "are hoping for outcome by next week". Does it sound promising?
On 31 May 2019 we submitted the ori docs. But so far no mention of if need medical checkup. Does all ltvp applications need med checkup? When must it be done? What are the charges like normally?
LTVP given usually last for how long? I heard some say 1 yr?
I know that LTVP holders after found job, the company will.apply for LOC. But can LTVP holders do jobs like daily paid jobs or say freelance handyman/ painting jobs?
Many thanks!

Without a work permit or LoC, no. cannot work at all, day rate or otherwise. He could have his ltvp and even right to visit revoked should MOM walk on site and ask to see his work permit and he not have one. Not a good idea.

No! Nyet! Never! Not! Nein! You must have a LOC to work at anything. If you want to get banned, get caught working somewhere without a permit.

LTVP or even SPR only gives your spouse residency rights in Singapore. Entering Malaysia or anywhere else is subject to the country's immigration/visa requirements on the passport he holds.
