How to clear refused entry in singapore.

How to clear refused entry in Singapore ?

I have been worked in Singapore from 2013 to 2017 in work permit. After that I came to India. After one year applied tourist visa through my friend who is a PR. While entering into Singapore ICA officer doesn’t allow me to enter in Singapore because the suspect you are coming to Singapore for searching a job. ICA officer called my local sponsor who has applied the tourist visa for me. But he didn't pickup the call. After that they have checked my mobile, in my mobile i have applied some jobs in Singapore they have seen the mails. Refusal entry reason is “being in eligible for the issue of a pass under current immigration policies” given. They have taken fingerprint and retina scanning. Returned back to India.

After 6 months through Skype interview got selected in MNC Company. They have applied SPASS for me.While filling the spass form I have marked the refused entry to singapore as NO. But it got rejected from MOM. The reason they have given is ICA Problem. Now again selected in one company in Singapore.

Is there any other option to clear this issue.

Kindly help me how to clear the immigration issues.

There is no rule at all about coming to Singapore to search for a job. That's completely legal and lots of people do it.

There must be more... like they suspect you were working while you were visiting Singapore.

You made your own situation even more obscure. You have been refused the entry and you answered you haven't. This alone could be a reason for rejection leaving aside any potential past troubles.

And for your refusal you mean “being NOT eligible for the issue of a pass under current immigration policies”? Well, it's up to them to let you in or not at their complete discretion. How many times have you visited Singapore since you left it in 2017?

Did you ask why you are "ineligible for the issue of a pass under current immigration policies." If they have said that, then there is something about your previous work or travel history that shows up on their computers. You need to figure out what this is.

There is no backlog for me during my previous work and travel history. While arriving in tourist visa only it happened for me.

You are going to have a rough time sorting this one out as you lied on a government application. That is fact, regardless of what may or may not have happened previously when rejected by ICA. You are going to have to contact ICA to clear that up before anything else can/will happen.

I reckon, because all applications will have the same FIN number the discrepancy will compound as then you will have two different applications All are kept in your electronic records under your FIN number. Once assigned it will remain for eternity or until you get PR or Citizenship when it will be retired and you will be issued with an NRIC number.

Cred: i hire a large number of expats

My assessment: give up on Singapore, try again 3 to 5 years down the road. If you're still banned, you would have been banned for life.

My experience: too many people don't tell the whole story of why they get refused entry. I had a potential staff coming in and she got refused entry. Reason 1: tourist Visa, but she didn't have a return ticket, and refused to buy a return ticket because she was very certain she would get employment. Reason 2: in her phone she had messages that she would try out employment in a couple of places.

(You probably hit both too..)

Later on even when she agreed to work for me at a lower salary, MOM rejected, stating ICA issues. Essentially banned for life for lying about tourist visa, and not having a ticket back (condition of tourist visa).

You have this thing about lying to MOM too. You'll probably be banned at MOM side too.

Hence, if you really want to waste time to try, you will have to raise an appeal with both MOM and ICA.

Edit: both ICA and MOM told me she's banned and there's absolutely no chance that she will get approved to work in or enter Singapore.

Hmm deliberate lie to MOM.

Just to let you know, I had a lesser case, a girl tried to enter Singapore with her mom when she was 10 on a transit without a tourist visa, was refused entry. On the first application, she put No, it was rejected. I jumped through a few hoops, and found out that she had this history that she forgot about since it was really long ago. In my appeal and new application, the reason was stated and the pass was ultimately granted. Took some time though. Today she's the owner of a dance studio and about to become Singapore PR.

So telling the truth is preferable to a lie

You now have a real problem, and you should find work elsewhere. MoM and ICA talk to each other. MoM says, "Hey, ICA, Annamalai says he has never been denied entry. True?" And ICA says, "Wah lan! We send Annamalai back last month."

Unfortunately for you, your friends don't know much about how MoM and ICA work. Good luck.
