Citizenship Application - all past document issued?

Post by bcheng74 » Fri, 19 Jul 2019 8:48 am

Dear all

I am preparing for the online application of Singapore citizenship. One of the entries to fill in is “All past and current residential status and travel documents issued”. Does that mean I have to submit all expired passport document? I have two to three expired passports many years ago (20+ years ago) and may not be able to locate those. Will that impact my application?

A permanent resident or any long term visa, permit or card from another country is what i interpreted "residential status documents" to be.

Only if the previous passports contain things like change of names, etc. Unless said passports also contain references contained there granting residence in other countries (like the old Singapore PR re-entry stamps contained therein. For a western woman, this would mean her previous passport issued in her maiden name if the current is issued in her married name.
