Visa Requirements

Post by janoppel89 » Thu, 18 Jul 2019 8:58 pm

Hello together,

I am new here. My name is Jan I am 30 years old and I am from cologne Germany. I work in my company (office job) for 4 years now and have the opportunity for a job in singapore.
I have an odd question.
2 1/2 years ago I was sentenced to a fine by court and it´s still on my Police Certificate (Certificate of conduct). It will be deleted in a half of a year.

My question is, do I need a police certificate (certificate of conduct)for a work permit in singapore ? I would like to apply now and take the chance for the job.

Thank you really much!

Jan

No I think you'll be ok. I would however obtain a copy of the police certificate in case you need it but as the penalty is a fine (and not jail) you should be ok.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!
