Changing job immediately after pr formalities

Post by Sentulian7 » Sat, 13 Jul 2019 11:25 pm

Hi guys

I got my PR approved in-principle.
While waiting for my appointment for the PR formalities I received another job offer.
Would like to know if my PR status will be affected if i change my job 1 week after my formalities

Thanks in advance

Once you have your PR formalities done, yeah, you are allowed to screw the employer who gave you a job so you could eventually apply for PR. That's why employers are so loath to fill out and sign the Annex A for PR as they know from past experience that the training and opportunity given to an employee will be reciprocated the employee's abandonment as soon as they get their PR.

While waiting? You weren't looking and didn't apply for the position? Right!
