If you don't have geckos you will have noticeably more roaches and possible mosquitoes. I know which I prefer.
We had some in our apartment but they seem to have disappeared recently (possible due to have a very active cat).

Re: Insects in Apartment / Condo
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

Ewww.. I don't like them and I don't want to live with them.
Everytime I see them, I will go hunt them, catch (with broom or something) then throw it outside far away.

SOME PEOPLE TRY TO TURN BACK THEIR ODOMETERS. NOT ME. I WANT PEOPLE TO KNOW WHY I LOOK THIS WAY. I'VE TRAVELED A LONG WAY, AND SOME OF THE ROADS WEREN'T PAVED. ~ Will Rogers
Re: Insects in Apartment / Condo
I catch a bunch of house geckos in my house. they run around at night and they are pretty fast they're only on the trees eating caterpillars and eating roaches cuz our backyard has a bunch of roaches and I caught one while a roach was halfway in its mouth and then it dropped it because I scared himtimottk wrote: ↑Sun, 07 Jul 2019 10:36 pmThanks a lot for ur answer. Can i ask you which area your are living? Maybe another question: how can i imagine the size of a gecko which u see every day. Is it a small one like this always: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ydZK8e_rMaU ?x9200 wrote: ↑Sun, 07 Jul 2019 9:53 pmIt is sort of like with spiders in Europe but I would disagree you see them twice a year. Perhaps you just don't notice? To give you some specific example, I live on a 25th floor, condo, and I see them in average every day. Most time in the kitchen and living room, sometimes late evening crawling out the aircon wall unit. Moving furniture, like sofas or heavy armchairs, you are likely find them hiding behind too. They feed on food and bugs so most time vicinity of the kitchen and the yard. I don't really recall seeing any in the bedrooms.
Bali is pretty rural so more geckos. Bangkok obviously less, but they are there for sure. It's like a part of the landscape. Nobody really cares. But if I see cockroaches in my apartment more then a few times a year, then I am concerned. Geckos are wall shitting, but friends.
