Probably, because my kids and grandkids are Singaporeans as well.
Oh, I was also told the last time I renewed my re-entry permit that I need not be employed to renew my re-entry permit once I was over the age of 55 (but I forgot to ask if that also applied to PTS PRs, so while I am theoretically clear, I don't know if it would be true for PTS PRs.

Sure, I assumed as much, SMS.
Sorry, I'm probably missing the obvious, other than post traumatic stress, I couldn't come up with a meaning for PTS. What does it stand for, chaps?

PTS - professional technical scheme for PR. Opposite of Family Ties Scheme.
