I have a STVP and have begun the hiring process for new employment. However, it's likely I won't get an EP response (IPA letter) within 30 days before I must exit Singapore. Do I need to return to my home country (USA), or can I exit to for example Malaysia and return to Singapore after 5 days to continue the hiring process?
If I'm at the airport, at immigration, and present my STVP along with my passport and ticket to Malaysia or another country in SEA, with an explanation that I'm in the hiring process with a new SG employer, what are the likely scenarios?
Please advise on how I can save myself a very long trip back to the USA in order to more conveniently continue my hiring process.
