With totally no information about you and your wife, the status of only PR approved will not be adding any helpful info to the forumers, except for them to understand it may take even 1 year or more for the outcome.Eddie1981 wrote: ↑Sat, 14 Dec 2019 11:22 pmMy wife’s sponsored application was approved just (mid Dec 19); I applied for her in Dec 18, the waiting time is approx 1 year.Butternut wrote:Anyone applied in 2019 for PR and got approval? Wait for 2 YEARS after marriage or till you have a kid and then reapply. Please do not rush.super4hundred wrote: ↑Mon, 16 Dec 2019 10:23 amHi all,

Re: PR approval in 2019
Hey guys, in your experience how long is the wait after request for further document submission? I applied for PR about 12+ months ago and was just asked to submit additional documentation. Thanks!

Just sharing my info:
- SC Chinese Male, 46yrs, Diploma from local Polytechnjc
- Spouse is Chinese, 40yrs, PRC, Homemaker (Economically not active), University Grad (China)
- Married in late 2017 (overseas marriage)
- No kids at moment (at planning stage)
- Spouse has been on LTVP since May 18; renewed once (each approval 1yr)
- Employed at MNC for > 4 years | Management Role
- Sal $280k (Base: $208 | Bonus: $72)
What spurred us to apply for PR at the early stage (as the marriage was less than 2 years) was the first LTVP application was approved in 4 days upon online submission (we did not apply for the LLE beforehand).
We received the PR AIP just as our marriage hit the 2 year mark.

This is very much inline with what we said before. Wait for 2 years after marriage or atleast till you have a kid and then apply for PREddie1981 wrote: ↑Mon, 16 Dec 2019 2:52 pmHi All,singaporeflyer wrote:With totally no information about you and your wife, the status of only PR approved will not be adding any helpful info to the forumers, except for them to understand it may take even 1 year or more for the outcome.

Agree with singaporeflyer - They got it right, 2 years of marriage will improve your chances.singaporeflyer wrote:This is very much inline with what we said before. Re: PR approval in 2019
Query: Do we get email/SMS notification on PR application status change? It's 12th month since application pending and I am sick of daily login in myICA to check the status. Kindly share the experience of recently approved applications.

Re: PR approval in 2019
No. If you are tired, please dont login daily and check. Wait for the letter to arrive via post. Check your posts the normal way.
Re: PR approval in 2019
Thanks for the quick reply
Re: PR approval in 2019
I waited 13 months before a response came asking for documentation. They send via email. I didn't get a post requesting the same, only email.
Anyone has experience how long this process takes after document submission?
