Won't last long, probably. Once they get flooded with a thousand cover letters written in 400 year old Shakespearean style English, they'll probably slam it closed again.

The box only allows you to upload if ica requires something from you. I clicked on the option and it said ica does not need any further documentation at this time.

I figured it would be something like that. Been dealing with ICA & MOM for 25 years and thought it would be a bit strange of them to leave a loophole open like that.

Resharing for all as a motivation!
PR for my wife approved! We applied on 2 Aug 19 and got our IPA letter by post on 6 Nov 19! Though it was only 3 months, but it was nevertheless still a gruelling wait!
Our Profile:
Myself: SC 3300/mth
Wife: Indonesian Chinese on LTVP+ for 2 years (Holding LOC) - 2000/mth
Married: 2 years
Kids: One 20 month old SC son ...
Stars aligned for this one. Hope those are still waiting are successful. And I can tell you, all the thing about having NOA for 2 years is not true. My wife does not have any NOA yet it's still approved. Having roots here is important for PR application. I suppose they keep 70-80% of quota for those SC spouse. The rest..... free for all. So, no matter what, good luck

Was your wife's PR approved as a PTS PR or a Family Ties PR (which I suspect is the case) If she was approved based on Family Ties, that's why the NOA wasn't required.

Indian
39 years old
Married to a Singapore citizen (Chinese) (formerly Malaysian PR) for 4 years, no kids yet
I work in IT for a local bank and my yearly salary including bonus is 165 k
We own a private
condo
I've been in Singapore for 6.5 years

Thanks. Yes I'm sure it played a big role for me. However, in general, I'd like to caution that in itself it doesn't guarantee success. For instance, my wife's friend is a Singaporean Chinese. Her husband is a Caucasian, owns a company and was rejected. He is quite loaded it would seem, but I don't know how much he earns. He's over 50 years old. So the point I'm making is that they do of course weigh in the other factors. I'm sure you know all this

Mine was approved based on family ties most probably.
I think the question is under which scheme did you apply? There are 2 different options while filling out the form. For instance, my wife is a citizen but I chose not to apply under the sponsorship aka family ties scheme.
