Assuming you are just 1 year in SG, wait for another 1 or 2 years and then apply.

Hi guys, due to the COVID-19 it may not advisable to visit the ICA to update the passport details for SPR application. I tried to call the ICA however, they don't pickup the call. Anyone tried to submit those online or through email? Can you share the ICA email particularly for the passport update. Thanks a lot.

Hi guys,
How to update passport details while the PR application already submitted and ongoing? It was few months we have submitted the application, now my spouse and child passport just renew. My spouse already changed his passport details with MOM and my son passport with ICA (since he is under dependent pass).

Can't find any link with ICA site how to do that. Any hint is appreciated.
Stay safe everyone!
Even though ICA will have the details from MOM, it is better to update them with the new passport details. You may call their call center and ask them on how you can submit these updated documents? Else you may walkin to ICA with the application reference number and submit this as additional documents in the front desk.

When did you call them? Call the support helpline on a weekday ?

Hi all,
Pls give advise on my chance of approval. I applied PR on October 2019

I'm Vietnamese male 32 year old (obviously I'm classified as "Others" race)
Education: Diploma in IT
Working in Singapore as a Senior Software Engineer since 11/2016 on Employment Pass until now.
Salary 94k annum.

I have applied PR with my family: wife and my 4 year old daughter. All are DPs and in SG since 10/2017
My wife has associate degree on IT as well, but now she's housewife the whole time in SG until now.
Daughter is going to local preschool now.

I applied the 1st time (with whole family) on 4/2018 and got rejected on 10/2018 (6 months sharp). Changed job on 2/2019 (salary increases 20%) and applied again on 10/2019
I got mail from ICA exactly after 6 months. Got rejected, no reason as usual, just welcome to continue staying in Singapore with work pass. Good luck the rest :D

Not going to be easy unless you have 3 cycles of tax returns in Singapore

Email is best. I emailed an update for my details in Feb, they replied with acknowledgement of receipt.

My application will be having its 18 month anniversary this week :-"

Hi,

I was planning to re-apply my PR application this year, after it was rejected 3 times way back in 2012, 2014 and 2016 respectively. At that time, I applied for my whole family (wife and kids).

After 4 yrs, my wife and I decided to take our chance to apply again and not to include our kids on the application.

Our qualification as follows
Age : 37 / 36 wife
Race : Filipino (both)
Religion : Roman Catholic
Education : Bachelor Degree in Engineering (both)
Work as : Senior Executive in Facility Management
Salary : 5k a month / housewife as of the moment
Current Pass - S Pass
Year of staying in SG - more than 10 yrs.

I do understand that I come from undesirable race, with average/low mos. salary and with almost impossible percentage to be approve. But still Im hoping a favorable result in my future application. Would like to seek your purview on this matter.

Appreciate and thank you in advance.

My spouse is a Korean and been on Ltvp for 2 years. He is 33 and have master degree from Kr university. I am a SC and curious if his chances of getting a Pr will be successful?

We have no kids and he doesn’t have any job so far in SG during these 2 years. Only myself is working. What do you guys think?
He have been pestering me to apply for him even though I feel the chances are very slim... look forward to hear all your thoughts as I do not want to waste time applying knowing that it will get rejected but he is adamant about applying for it ...also currently he isn’t in SG but wants me to apply asap

You are indeed rational in deducing that the chances are slim.
But, there is nothing stopping you from applying. There is no way of knowing whether or not it will be rejected. As I hear it, it may ease this sticky topic in your relationship for a while at the least :)
