Chance is a bit low, but you never know. Try to work longer continuosly, increase your pay and reapply after 1-2 years.

30% - is low because of break in work in sg, slightly low salary.

Hi all,
Pls give advise on my chance of approval. I applied PR on October 2019
I'm Vietnamese male 32 year old (obviously I'm classified as "Others" race)
Education: Diploma in IT
Working in Singapore as a Senior Software Engineer since 11/2016 on Employment Pass until now.
Salary 94k annum.
I have applied PR with my family: wife and my 4 year old daughter. All are DPs and in SG since 10/2017
My wife has associate degree on IT as well, but now she's housewife the whole time in SG until now.
Daughter is going to local preschool now.
I applied the 1st time (with whole family) on 4/2018 and got rejected on 10/2018 (6 months sharp). Changed job on 2/2019 (salary increases 20%) and applied again on 10/2019

Not going to be easy I think as the Others category does not have much quota

Thank you.
Yes, the "Others" category is a big factor. Other than that, is there any downvotes in your opinion?
I'm also a bit afraid on the education part since I don't have any degree and my wife is not even working as well.

I was also wondering about my chances
Profile:

Caucasian
3 years in Singapore
EP of 4500 monthly salary
My fiancee is Malysian Chinese and on an EP. She is 25. Are my chances better if we apply together as a married couple? Or even if she gets PR and then sponsors me in a year or two.
Thanks!

She on an EP.
Around 3200 monthly.
Nurse at SGH and former student in Singapore. Been here since 2015 already.
I work in education sector as a reading specialist.
If I'm rejected which is quite likely? Should she apply by herself and maybe sponsor me in a year or two if she accepted?
Or better both apply together if I fail first time?

If you want to apply as a couple it can be only 2 years after marriage. At the moment, your chances looks low.

And if she were to get PR independently and then sponsor me? Do we have to be married for 2 years before that too?

Yes, surely. What is the reason to rush?

Just want to make Singapore a permanent home is all. Being on an EP is somewhat unsecure way of living. However, i shall try at least 3 times aa circumstances change before eventually having to accept defeat.
