Which job offer to accept?

Hi, my friend has two job offers on hand. Both are software developers. One is a full time job, working for a young startup , no bonus, no stock option, salary is SGD4.7K, but with bi-annual performance review, comes with other benefits. Another is a 6 month contract job with venture-capital backed startup (think Grab, Garena) with salary $6.5K. Which one should he accept?

Not nearly enough information to make any sort of a useful recommendation to you. Amongst the things you left out: Stock options and going public, potential for future promotion, viability of the company and the idea, skill levels of the management team, level of funding and cash burn rate.
