Processing time up to 6 weeks.
As far as I know, your location won't affect the result.

Good luck for your application.

Guys .. Received my in principle today. Exactly it is 4 months now. Applied on 1st June and received it on 1st October.

What’s next ?

I’m in dubai now and need to come to SG to complete my formalities. Do I need to come on same visit visa to do this and can I stay after I receive my LTVP card ?

And added to above I have been told to bring the following document

Certificates of Completion for the Marriage Preparation Programme and Marriage Support Programme for Singaporean-Foreigner couples by the Ministry of Social and Family Development's appointed agencies.(Original and Photocopy) If you have not attended these programmes, sign up for them as soon as possible to secure your attendance within the validity period of this In-Principle Approval. You can find out more at MSF's Website or contact MSF at 6355 5000 or [email protected]

What’s it ? I didn’t apply for any programs so for. Can anyone let me know what is it for ? And how to do it ?

For foreigner spouses of certain nationalities, ICA feels these spouses might experience language or cultural shock differences when living in Singapore.

The programmes help the couple to adapt to life in Singapore and are compulsory for some, not all, LTVP applications.

Both the foreigner spouse and Singaporean spouse MUST attend the courses together as certificates will be issued with both of your names on them. Those certs are what ICA want. Usually you attend the Marriage Preparation Programme first followed by the Marriage Support Programme.

Google can easily help you search for which family service centres organise such courses and you have to pay to attend them, unfortunately.

Good luck.
