I am 39 now. I asked him what is the risk if I have to get this removed when I am older like 60. He replied no problem, he has operated 72 year olds also and that is not an issue.
What do you guys think?

Thanks!PNGMK wrote:I am not a dentist and this is not dental advice but I would agree to avoid jaw / orthodontic surgery unless absolutely necessary. Infections in that part of your body can kill surprisingly quickly. On the other hand if it does abscess then you need to get it addressed quickly (i.e. if there is pain).
