Wisdom tooth

Post by Wd40 » Sun, 26 May 2019 1:29 pm

I visited dentist a wisdom tooth expert here in Singapore. He suggested me not to remove the wisdom tooth, unless I have pain or issues. He looked at the X ray and said, it looks fine to me. If I have to remove it, it involves surgery, he said not worth it.

I am 39 now. I asked him what is the risk if I have to get this removed when I am older like 60. He replied no problem, he has operated 72 year olds also and that is not an issue.

What do you guys think?Image

I'm almost 72. I still have one left in the lower right jaw. No issues thus far so not planning on doing anything with it.

I am not a dentist and this is not dental advice but I would agree to avoid jaw / orthodontic surgery unless absolutely necessary. Infections in that part of your body can kill surprisingly quickly. On the other hand if it does abscess then you need to get it addressed quickly (i.e. if there is pain).
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!
