Hi Everyone
I just joined this forum and happy to see many active members here sharing their experiences.
I have applied for PR just after 6 months working in SG on 24/2/2019. Here is my profile
1. 39 yrs old Male Malaysian Chinese
2. Currently on EP with a global IT Company with basic salary > 180k
3. Applied PR together with wife (not working) and 2 kids from previous marriage
4. Just filled my tax return but still waiting for letter from IRAS on tax amount to be paid
My questions are
1. What is the chances of my PR application?
2. Normally how long can we know the results? I heard that results will normally out in bulk beginning of the year, is it true
3. Since I applied for PR within short time staying in SG will it affect the application?
4. Will ICA check on financial eg will Personal Loan or credit card debt affect the application?
5. My ex wife was sent back from SG before if not mistaken, will this affect the application?
Please share your experience, thanks alot

Re: Please help to access PR approval chance
Generally for a couple of reasons..Background checks and trying to see how much additional baggage you might try to get into Singapore on the backs of your own PR. This isn't always the case, obviously, but when you deliberately do not furnish what they ask for, to them it means you are trying to hide something. That is not a good way to get PR, that's a fact.

May I know what is on item 5? I did not hide anything and furnish all information in the form. The difference with this additional info are previous history before parents retirement so it looks like detail family background checks.
