Enquiry for PR formalities

Hi, would like to know if I have to get my spouse birth certificate translated before I go for ICA appointment for PR formalities? His is a PR now and we are Malaysian, when he submitted his documents past years, he did not submit with tranlation version. When I received then PR ipa letter there is a required of bring original birth certificate for spouse even I am not under his sponsor. Please advise and is there any one that went for appointment and have same situation as me?

If what you are saying is that the Birth Cert is written in Malay there shouldn't be a problem. I did translate and bring to them and they said it is not needed
