AWS ^^^ Annual Wage Supplement. That is usually fixed at one month's salary but often there is also a variable bonus and that is just what it says and is generally based on the profits of the company Variable bonuses can vary up to several months salary (Civil Servants quite often see 3 months variable service bonuses (sometimes broken into two payments (one in June/July and the other at the end of the year.

Where's the IRAS citation for that one? That's news to me and I can find nothing in IRAS administrative concessions list to suppor this.

It's buried there, I had to use the search function to find it.

Looks like as the OP is getting a relocation allowance they can offset their expenses. I looked into this when I first came over to see my tax position.
