You are in for a rough time, if you want to know the truth. Singapore, regardless of how much she has progressed over the years, is still, at the root of it, a patriarchal society. It is also a society that depends on immigration of highly qualified individuals. However, there is still the route of entry based on Family Ties for obtaining PR. That obviously will have to be on the cards if you were to marry him. But, to be honest, without more information as to his industry or level therein, he will find it almost impossible to gain employment here with the exception of possibly on a Letter of Consent IF you could manage to get him and LTVP+ after you are married. In order to accomplish that you will need to be able to show that you can support him, which at the moment appears to be impossible as you are still a student. The approximate tipping point on the scales is currently around 4~5K/month salary. Most entry positions today require a minimum of a diploma with experience for S passes and a Degree for the lowest level of EP. I'm not saying don't do it, but be advised that it's not going to be easy. (I've been there and done that 36 years ago but it was different back then). Good Luck.
