Please wait patiently. It might be under vetting and hence taking some time. Also what is going to be his job, title, salary etc?

Should be mostly OK. Has he ever worked in Singapore? How many years of total IT experience does he have?
Any reason why he opted for a DP rather than an EP on his own?

Hi All, I am Saranya. I am on a dependent pass and was working on LOC for four months. Now I switched my job and my new employer has applied for my LOC on OCT 22, 2019.The status is still "Pending". Could any of you please let me know any details for the delay, if you know from your past experiences. Because last time when they applied (which was in June 2019), it got approved in 1 week, I am not sure why it is taking so long this time. Thanking you in advance.

Did you see the MOM website
https://www.mom.gov.sg/passes-and-permi ... of-consent
It says 3 weeks in some cases and more longer in some other cases. Not sure why you can't be patient

Dear All,
My Friend's loc Application submitted on March 19th 2021. But its still in pending. But many loc application get approved who submitted later mar 20th. What might be the reason for pending? Will it get approve before may 1st?

Maybe it won't get approved at all. LoCs are not being given as easily as the were before. Now you have to qualify for the position with experience similar to getting a regular work pass. It is what it is. How long is a piece of string? Covid, LoC abuse, and other factors make any sort of guesswork impossible. It's hard to have anecdotal answers when we are into something that has never happened before.

Quite true, the property buyers have too much cash on hand to splurge on overpriced cars and properties.
