You don't see anything strange about being an International student on a student visa in Singapore when your father is a SGCitizen? Obviously the ICA/MOM are aware that you are an international student in order to avoid having to do NS. Are you perchance also from the Subcontinent? What is going to happen is your poly is going to be rejected and your student visa will be canceled and you probably will not be given an LTVP (although you might be able to get one based on your mother's PR but that is doubtful as I know of a similar case close range where it never happened and now the son is 25 and still cannot get residency in Singapore (and his father is a card carrying PAP member (and his mother is an Eastern European with 20 years PR here. He cannot get an employment pass regardless of the salary (I know I've applied on a fair number of occasions and the rejection always comes be with the ominous notation of having unresolved NS issues.)
Your only solution is to have your father apply for PR for you and pray. Otherwise I fear your parents, like a rather large number of other parents will have just screwed up the life of another son in their quest to screw the Singapore Government. Good Luck, causes you're going to need all the luck you can get, truth be known.
