Hi ,
I had applied for LTVP on 14th March 2019 .
Background :
- I am Malaysian
- Malaysian Chinese
- 26 yrs old
- Working in Singapore for past 5 yrs
- Working as clinic nurse
- Annual for last yrs $45k
- Currently unemployed waiting for my LTVP to commence on the new job
-My hubby is local
-Local Chinese
-31 yrs old
-Annual for past 3 yrs $80k
-Working in UOB bank as Mortgage Specialist
Recently we got married and my hubby applied for LTVP on my behalf and my company is waiting for me to commence work otherwise I will be losing the opportunity.
We did wrote in an email to request of expediting the application from ICA officers. Also, we asked whether if we are able to go down personally for an interview .
In addition, I already prepared all the document ready including body check up .
My white card is expiring on 8th Apr, We did applied for STVP extension also but it’s been rejected .
In my opinion , the LTVP should be approving soon and that’s why ICA rejected my STVP .
What happen if the pass hasnt approved before that ?
Anyone happen to have the same situation with me ?
Kindly advice

It's better to not assume anything. Just hope.Isabella_J wrote: My white card is expiring on 8th Apr, We did applied for STVP extension also but it’s been rejected .

If the pass hasn't approved until 8 april, you will need to leave the country.
LTVP processing time for spouse of Singapore Citizen cleary stated:
If you submitted a Pre-Marriage Long-Term Visit Pass Application (PMLA) before applying for your LTVP, it may take up to six weeks to process your LTVP application.
If you did not submit a PMLA, the LTVP processing time may take up to six months.
As from what I know, LTVP doesn't need interview or body checkup result. Nothing we can do to expedite.
I suggest you can talk to company who is going to hire you to apply workpass/Epass for you. You will update them when your LTVP approved. Good luck!

I did the PMLA and it’s approved with LLE .
When the LTVP is approved will required you to do an body check up which I had done and already prepare all the relevant document for submission .

Hey wennzzi,
The document will be verify on the appointment date with ICA. If you LTVP is approved and after you have make the payment you will redirected to a page that shows all the requirement. Follow the document instruction to gather all necessaries documents and bring to along on the appointment date with ICA. They will verify the document and issues the LTVP on the same day.
Hope it clear your doubts.
