PMLA is mandatory ??!!!

Post by mohamed66 » Sun, 24 Mar 2019 10:45 pm

Hi folks, I am married to SC overseas and my wife is working in Singapore. We didnt know about this PMLA process before our marriage and registered overseas. Now my wife wants to apply LTVP for me. Is PMLA mandatory or Can I apply LTVP directly? What will be the impact if I dont have LLE?

And my marriage certificate registered overseas is enough for applying LTVP?

You can apply for LTVP directly. PMLA helps to assess your chances of being granted a LTVP before marriage.

Thanks for the reply. I want to know one more thing. Should I need to stay after applying ? Because I will be taking a week off to go to Singapore for applying LTVP. Do they ask us to come again for document verification ? If so when they will ask us to come and what documents to be produced ?
