Citizenship Application successful and AIP received
A wait of approx 2.5 years and yeah patience is a virtue. Especially if you are not from the preferred race, age, working sector, future contribution to 'ns'. As many of the friends commented here, there is no specific template which can guarantee success or failure. Anyways, for the sake of providing some info,
Race - Indian
Age - 40+
Stay - Since 2002 and PR since 2006
Career - Telcom (or broadly IT)
Application Date - Oct 2016.
Starting the SG journey process.

Getting a bit too hard to ignore this pattern of SC application outcomes taking >24 months for non favored races.
What was your salary btw?

2 years.. I guess that's fine as it takes pretty long in any other country and probably a way to test the plans and stability.
Salary - I don't think salary has much relevance as some of the known folks got it with less than the median income and few got rejected with 10x median income.

We've been trying to tell you all for the past 6 or 7 years, but nobody wants to listen. What to do?

Nope. Didn't updated. When my spouse changed the job right after doc submission, we did update ICA and received a reply that's implying ' we know from your cpf submissions and ask for addl details if needed'. So didn't really bothered to reach out to ICA for any changes.

How did you prove to ICA that you are well integrated with Singapore society? I guess that is one of the biggest concern for them?
