Hi, as Im just an EP holder in Singapore, i am not eligible to be a guarantor for my gf to come Singapore. I am helping her to apply for the entry visa and ICA send me a letter and ask me to look for any Singaporean pink or blue IC holder to sign the letter, but none of my colleague willing to sign.
1) May I know who can I look for to sign this for me?
2) anyone in here can sign for me?
3) any alternative if i cant find any singaporean willing to sign for me?

Re: Guarantee letter from ICA
Here's your problem. Being a guarantor means that you guarantee and will be responsible for the behavior and actions of the person requesting the entry visa. People who don't know your GF won't want to do this because they don't know if she is coming to work, coming over to spend time at Four Floors, or overstay her visa. If she violates the law, the person who is the guarantor is responsible.
Consequently, they don't want to be responsible. Your best bet is a SC or PR who knows both you and your girlfriend.

Re: Guarantee letter from ICA
I got around this problem many years ago before I got married. I was in a similar position as you. I had a sworn oath (declaration witnessed by a justice of peace) that I will marry my gf 1 year within her arrival so I could sponsor her stay. In the end we got married and low she's a PR.

@Strong Eagle
I dont have anyone that knew me and my gf because i am not from singapore, so all of my friends in singapore were just colleague and i did ask around, they refused to do so. Is there any alternatives?
@lot286
Does this method even work for now? I have to go to justice of peace to declare my oath? How much does it costs?

*The local contact must be either a Singapore citizen (SC) or a Singapore permanent resident (PR) who is at least 21 years old with a SingPass/CorpPass account.
I guess @lot286 is not EP holder at the time he sign to be guarantor.
