Do a search. It works. There were some here organizing Pick up games a while back. But as I'm a shorty, was never my cup of tea so didn't follow or pay too much attention to it.

Hello BlueSky, there will always be games upcoming but the question beckons:
"what exactly are you looking for?"

BBall games in SG are generally categorised as the following:
1. Competitive - Tournaments
Leagues with players that keep fit to play and not play to keep fit.
2. Competitive - Casual
Public players that will put in 100% on defense and offense, THEY WANT TO WIN.
3. Casual
Public players that play merely to sweat and get some balls through the hoop cos they like bball.

Lemme know WHAT you want, so i can tell you WHERE it is :

btw, i'm not too active in the forums, if you want to save time, you can PM me on instagram or facebook by the same handle.
Interested in option 2. I live close to river valley road not far great world mall.been in Singapore for 4 weeks. Let me know times for pickup. Appreciate your help.
Hi Joel, you might wanna refer to the earlier post by Ausmond, i listed some courts to play at. River Valley is a pretty popular area for expats in this forum, it seems XD

Kim Seng and Craig have serious games like in option 2.

You can always also join my group on Sunday mornings if you want. But its far west for you though.

Hi Zhengjie, usually when clubs recruit they will need to know some details first.

In Singapore there are many leagues for locals and expats, i assume you're expat, so those leagues always have space for more players. So the short answer is yes.

Firstly, what leagues have you played in school?

Secondly, i assume you're looking to play on a high competitive level in a league?

Thirdly, how often can you play basketball and how long can you commit those days for?

Thanks sunday! I suspect zhengjie might be looking for competitive ;)

Also, if you are short in stature but gargantuan in passion for the sport, come join us. The best players I've ever played against aren't tall at all.

SE, that's because I've been confirmed with arithis in my left wrist. Full jug hurts the crap out of it. But the right works good for holding beer. Oh, it not the hand that dribbles when you are 72! :o :oops!: :shit:

SGballersLIFE, thanks for the invite, while the mind is willing the knees and wrist aren't. Enjoy.

I get 'em shot up with cortisone injections about every 10 months. Makes life much better, otherwise, it becomes extremely painful to even walk up and down stairs.

I been trying not to start with the injections. Since I've retired, though, I am finding that possibly the more activity I'm involved in is starting to see me with better mobility say for the past month or so. I believe because I'm now a bit more active other than spending all my time sitting in the office behind PC screens I'm starting to get a bit more flexibility. Keeping the fingers crossed. The left wrist is confirmed arthritis after xrays & mri. Ortho Surgeon think I probably cracked the carpal bone that butts against the Radius without knowing it and that what as led to the problem. Yeah, going down stairways is really bad!

I reckon we are doing them a favour, letting them know what foolishness they partake in today, will possibly cause them to end up like us middle-aged coots, in their future.
