Hi
I just finished my studies and went back to my country for a break.
I didn't surrender my Student Pass when I leave SG which will expire on first week of March with the thought of coming back before my student pass.
But I got a job offer from a local company and they applied Employment Pass. So, I decided to wait for Employment Pass to be approved and come back to SG with the IPA letter.
The problem is I have the student pass with me which will expire while I'm waiting for EP.
Is it okay to surrender my student pass only when I come back to SG? Will the fact that I couldn't surrender my STP on time affect my EP process?
Or Can I pass my STP to my friend and let him surrender it for me?

Hi Zack,
I have exactly the same situation now. May I know did the student pass affects your EP application? Thank you

Zack only made one post in 2019, do you reckon he's still reading this board?
