anybody got an idea where I can buy a decent italian espresso machine (e.g. ECM, would also settle for an Alessi as an emergency)

This is probably too late , but you can try Mustafa's , Robinsons, iSetan.
They sell things like Saeco, Gaggia etc

There is a Rancilio agent here and I beleive a Butterfly agent if you are looking for something more
