Singapore Visa/Short term visit pass for Indian passport

Hi All,

Need suggestions on the Singapore VISA/VISIT PASS.
Please help for below questions

1. On EP cancellation I have received 30 days Short term visit pass and Embarkation form. Can I extend this short term visit pass ?
2. If I have to get new tourist/short term Visa , I have to exit from Singapore first and then i have apply from home country and once I come back here . if I get job and EP , should I need to exit then enter with IPA ?

Please help me with answers or suggestion
