OK so I'm not even in Singapore yet and I'm planning my next trip home!
Anyone here had any experience of Air Asia? It "looks" OK, but having flown EasyJet a couple of times and decided never again, the thought of EasyJet style flights long haul sounds scary!

I expect that I'd only be travelling with hand luggage anyway so ........

It's ok for leisure travel. Book one way if possible as nothing is really flexible after booking. (Book your return when you know your ready to return). Scoot is better IMO as they use the dreamliner and have SIA trained crew. J* is ok but below AA and Scoot IMO. Also there are a lot of region links like CebuAir, FlyBuzz etc that have smaller networks but sometimes good or much better value.

Fun fact: AA fly fly direct from JB to Vietnam.
