Investing in Europe/ Golden Visa

Hello guys, so...I am married to a local and we were thinking of investing in Europe, more specifically in Romania (my home country)
My question is, did anyone buy some properties over there? Also, do you know which countries in Europe has the Golden visa programme?

I heard about Portugal and Greece. In fact, Greece has the cheapest Golden Visa programme. But I am interested in Romania

Why would a Romanian need a golden visa for Europe? Isn't Romania part way through joining the EU already?
