Hi All,
We are a family of three (one kid, 3.5 years old - girl, born back in India) and have been in Singapore for over 3 years. We have applied for Permanent Residency with the following profile (application made over 4 months ago) - applied together (including the child):
Age: 35 (H); 34 (W) - Married for >5 years
Nationality & Race: Indian
Primary applicant income: > SGD 280k (Base: SGD >220k)
Spouse income: > SGD 100k
Application: First time in March 2019 (after three (3) NOAs)
Qualification: Both are Masters in respective fields (degrees completed at highly reputed (in global rankings) institutes in India).
Jobs in Singapore: No change in jobs since we arrived from Bangalore, India
Understand that there is no fixed timeline for an outcome, any guidance on what & when to expect one (based on current trends) will be highly appreciated.
We have not been asked to update any additional family information like some other people who have posted here (aside what was asked in the application form).
Thank you.
Chance is going to be slim. 3 years is too early to apply if you are from India. Try after atleast 5-6 years in SG

I'm very well thanks, SMS, and determined to not let the Brexit fiasco mess up my life (I'm still outside of the UK thankfully). Trust you are adjusting well to retirement?
... And apologies for hijacking this thread.

You can hijack us anytime. And surprisingly I am adjusting reasonably well to retirement. Wife keeps asking if I am going to work part time, I ask her where do I have the time? I'm busier now than when I was working, just using different tools now.

mine is still pending guys, 14 months already.
got no clue why still pending.
Any experts around.. plz help me.
I need to renew my rental contract as well, but planned to buy a house if I get my PR asap.
Hi, I have checked with ica officer personally at level 5 regarding my hub PR application status today (since i was there for other matters). It have been pending for 9.5mths. I was told to wait for the outcome by post. The officer also mentioned that the processing time can be more than 1 year. The status they see in system is the same as the status we check in MyICA. So just wait patiently!
Hi all, jus want to update that we have finally received the in-principle approval after 11 months! Good luck to all who are waiting for the outcome!

Hello All,
My first time here-apologies for any unintended guideline or posting errors.
Sort of a dilemma whether to even try for SG PR now or just hold onto existing PR from
immigrant-friendly country.
Following is my profile and I am wondering if it makes sense to even apply for PR in SG
Age: 37 (male)
Marital status: Single
Nationality & Race: Indian
Qualification: MBA (New Zealand Public Univ) along with exchange semester to NUS MBA and
Master's & Bachelor's from reputed univ in India
Work area: Advanced analytics, predictive modeling & machine learning
Employer: European MNC banking group
Total income: SGD 166k (Base: SGD 127k)
Duration in SG: 3 years with 3 NOAs
PR application history: Never applied for PR here
Jobs in Singapore: No change in jobs in SG
Any chance that I should even bother applying for PR given my nationality, race, age, marital status and moderate salary or just stick to maintaining my existing PR?
Thanks for your help.

Chance may not be high. Why not wait for 2 more years, increase your experience and salary and then try again.
But since you studied in SG and immediately started work in SG, you still might have a slight chance NOW.

Thanks to both of you for your responses.
My dilemma is that I have only 6 months to either decide to maintain my PR in the other country or apply for PR here and wait for the outcome. The latter,as i understand, realistically takes ~1 year on average with no guarantee for success.Hence, the post to see if I should even consider filing for PR in SG.
