Trying to conceive via IVF beyond 45 years of age
My wife and I plan to go the IVF route to conceive. However my wife is 46 years of age and I am wondering whether there is any age restriction for women in Singapore to conceive via IVF.
Thanks in advance

No but you'll almost certainly need donor eggs which can be hard to procure here, especially from lower % races.
I not lawyer/teacher/CPA.
You've been arrested? Law Society of Singapore can provide referrals.
You want an International School job? School website or http://www.ISS.edu
Your rugrat needs a School? Avoid for profit schools
You need Tax advice? Ask a CPA
You ran away without doing NS? Shame on you!

Thanks PNGMK, Singaporeflyer,
However we have specific reasons for going via the IVF route and we wish to do it here in Singapore. Hence I wonder whether the Health Ministry could be approached to explain our reasons for going this way.

Very unlikely that they will change their stand. It is a rule.merlion229 wrote:Thanks PNGMK, Singaporeflyer,

Re: Trying to conceive via IVF beyond 45 years of age
There are at least two or three countries I can think of within 4 hours of Singapore who will be happy to help take your money and do IVF. I don't consider Singapore to be the leading IVF provider in any way shape or form. Other countries live birth rates from IVF are exceeding Singapore significantly.

Thanks PNGMK,
Which are these countries that you are referring to? Are they having facilities as good as those offered by Singapore?

Yes. India, Thailand, Taiwan. Don't fall for Singapore's medical PR bumpf.
