Hi All, I am an Indian Citizen currently working in Singapore on an S Pass for last 10 years. I am married to a SG citizen for more than 8 years. My spouse is a homemaker and has no income. What are the chances of us applying for an LTVP and getting approved for it? Is there anyone in the forum who has seen success in this area? I am hoping to continue in SG as a worker until we apply for PR.

I'm assuming the OP wants to sponsor a relative, as he is the earner.

This is his msg. I doubt he is referring for relative.

I am on S-Pass and wife is a singapore citizen. we never applied for LTVP. But now there are some challenges on my work visa so i was trying to find out that with my wife as a housewife and not earning, if we can apply for PR and i can continue to work there.

My then wife (now ex-wife) was a housewife when I got my PR in 2003 basis her sponsoring me. However, my salary was about $9k+ which was quite a reasonable amount back then - and we already had 2 Singapore citizen children.

yes we dont have children yet. so we are stuck on that angle. Our options are only if my wife is earning. Is there a minimum that she needs to earn?
