Simply appealing... pretty please... without a change in circumstances, is unlikely to yield a different outcome.

I see three negatives. You are too young, you are single, and you are not Chinese... are you Malay? If not, make that a bigger negative.

You don't state what your profession is but oddly enough, if you are in finance, your salary is probably a negative as well. It's large enough that you look like you are promotable, which generally means you'd be moving to another country.

Getting married might help. Demonstrating that your position in Singapore is long term, with good career prospects, and not subject to transfer elsewhere might help. Becoming Chinese might help but that will be a tough one.

Hmmm.. no, I’m not Malay. Not sure how to become Chinese, although everyone here seems to think that I am haha.

I’m dead single, mostly been focusing on my career, so getting married is not really an option as well.

No, I’m not in finance, but in supply chain for MNC, but the HQ for my function is in Singapore, which means I will most likely stay here even if I’m promoted. Do you think earning higher salary will help? When does it stop mattering?

I consider myself doing pretty well for my age, but it is pretty disheartening to see Malaysian Chinese, earning much less with shorter stay in SG, getting PR approved. Oh well, I guess such is life - it’s not fair.

You still didnt say what is your race and where are you from.

Your salary for your age is more than enough. Increasing your salary is not going to help your PR application.
