At 40+ won't it be late to apply for Canada\Aus etc PR.
Solution: Apply for *all* of them now! If SG doesn't want you, eventually just find somewhere else that will.

It's easy to develop tunnel vision about SG, as it's such an "easy" choice in terms of living - but there's a huge World of opportunity outside this little 25 x 35 km red dot.

OP, I would suggest explore starting your own company here and employ some people. I have seen people getting PR that way. The other option, since you guys are high flyers, consider the PR by investment scheme, it costs about 2M.

And dont worry about getting PR in a 1st world country, at 40, it is difficult to get visa skilled immigration. However, you both can easily get work visas and eventually be able to buy residency in a nice country. It doesnt cost much. There are some nice European countries where you can buy PR for a few 100ks.
