Fellow expats, where do you go to find good, and preferably, wallet-friendly medical services (like the GP, dentist, chiropractor) in Singapore?
Looking for recommendations.

You go to where the locals go and stay out of the downtown areas that cater specifically for expats who think they are better than the locals. I've been using government hospitals and polyclinics for over 30 years now and I'm still kicking. (I'm 71 now). I'll be damned if I'm going to pay for some doc's country club/golf club membership like SICC when they all use the same medications and methods (and poor bedside manners). But that's just me.
SOME PEOPLE TRY TO TURN BACK THEIR ODOMETERS. NOT ME. I WANT PEOPLE TO KNOW WHY I LOOK THIS WAY. I'VE TRAVELED A LONG WAY, AND SOME OF THE ROADS WEREN'T PAVED. ~ Will Rogers

Re: Where do you go to find cheaper medical services?
Hello, I am living as expact in Singapore for 10 years untill 2019. I would like to share my experience so non-locals can get some relief for cheaper GP Or general consultation.
For any medical complications, first visit Local GP they will recommend need to specialist or no., ALL GP in singapore are registered with MOH and they have license to operate so don’t worry so deeply.
My family Clinic in Hougang or Aljunied Area charges 14 SGD per visit n morning slot 9 to 12 AM also other timings price is reasonable less than 20 SGD for Locals as well non locals in 2019 july. You can check for specialist also sometime same fees baby doctor or gyne doctors’ also available, call to their clinic. If non-emergency always suggest first go to GP for almost every issue Baby, Ladies or any kind (than go to Govt hospitals if require more enhanced treatment) so they can suggest medical conditions.
2. For General Eye issues will suggest EYE clinic Singapore International in Ang Mo Kio charges around 60 SGD in july 2019 for locals as well non-locals. They have most equipment’s for eye checking and prices are most reasonable in Singapore and doctors are very polite. If not satisfied can move to Govt eye hospitals.
3. For Maternity issue there are many doctors available in Thomson Medical, can check on their website general consolation around 60 to 70 SGD in July , 2019 for locals as well Non Locals.
Pls add if any other GP clinic prices are reasonable for Locals and Non-locals. Happy reading !!
