USA tourist/business visa procesing time

Hello folks,

Looking for some information and guidance on US tourist/business visa.

I am planning to attend Supercomputing 2018 Conference @Dallas, unfortunately time is short as it starts from 11th Nov, so I have roughly 2 weeks for the Visa now.
I am holding India passport with SPR status. If anyone is aware what is the processing time and do you guys think if I would be able to get the visa within two weeks?

Depends completely on your profile. I have seen people getting 10 years visa in just 7 working days and some got their visa after their intended date of travel and that too for 1 month only.

Thanks for the information, I'll give it a try and complete the paperwork tomorrow.
https://travel.state.gov/ shows waiting time of 1 day for Singapore, so I guess there is some hope afterall.

Ah, well I went ahead and applied the visa anyway, for all three of us(me, wify and son).
Today, attended the interview at US embassy, after the interview officer informed that visa is approved and you may receive within a week.

Later today: wife's visa shows as issued, me and my son's status shows as Administrative Processing. I received an email asking for 15 years of travel, work, stay and 5 years of phone/emails/social-networking/public pages; provided them and now waiting if they will approve before my conference, lol.
