LTVP for spouse, both staying overseas

I am Singaporean, was working in Singapore for 4 years (S$ 4000/month) after graduating.
Recently moved to USA (6 months) after I found a job here earning $6500/month.

My boy friend is in USA as well (Indian citizen) earning slightly more than me. We plan to get married early 2019. My boy friend was in Singapore for 6 years ( working for 4 years in EP) before moving USA 2 yrs back. Since he moved to US he have visited Singapore for short trip to visit me or due to work every 6 months. Both have master degrees from NUS.

We are planning to buy resale HDB as we both wanted to return to Singapore in couple of years. One of the rule was non citizen spouse should have LTVP while buying the hdb. We wanted to buy hdb in 2019 as well after we get married. We already have like 20-30% down payment in cash.

What are our chances of getting LTVP if we apply after as soon as we married ? We saw PMLV assessment, I don't think we will have a problem in getting it. Any thought?
